Most companies that hire people to perform
assembly work and crafts do charge a small
start up fee (averaging around $25 to
$30). This fee is normally charged so that
the company can ship you the materials
needed to complete the jobs. In most cases
this fee is either reimbursed back to you
or you will quickly make the money back
that you spent on the fee.
It is a good idea to only work for
companies that provide a phone number,
either in the job listing or in the
information packet that they send out to
you. You want to be able to call them if
you have questions. Before beginning work
with any of the companies be sure to
inquire to the company by sending them a
self addressed stamped envelope (SASE)
with a brief note asking them what types
of work they have available for you and
what would be expected of you. You can
usually tell by the company's response if
you would like to work for them.
You do not have to sell anything - The
companies on the list that we provide sell
the products themselves. They need you to
make the products for them to sell.
When sending for information, please be
certain to enclose a SASE (Self-addressed,
stamped envelope) with a short note asking
them to send you more information on their
work-at-home opportunities.
Working at home is becoming increasingly
popular! Dozens of companies are
discovering that it's more economical for
them to hire people, like you, to perform
their assembly work from your home, rather
than absorbing the high costs of large
assembly plants and the related high costs
of employing a large work force.
